Perspectives on Black Motherhood

Welcome to Motherhood in Black! Thank you so much for stopping by.

This is a place for black mothers and black women to find support, information, advice, and perspectives on our nuanced and complex roles.

And with so much out of our control, how to reclaim our roles by creating a virtual village and living with joy and intention.

About Tomi

Hello and Welcome! I’m Tomi, A 40+, American of African descent, believer, wife, mother and entrepreneur.

After some life altering events, I began a journey to redefine my life as a black mother and black woman, and committed to living with intention and joy.

I created this virtual village to provide a space for others to join me in this journey.
